Mediation in Fiji

I have been visiting Fiji between 1-3 times a year since 2010, as a mediation trainer together with George Lim, S.C under the auspices of the Singapore Mediation Centre. We started with the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment which resulted in the setting up of their Mediation Unit. They went from multiple strikes a year to zero (see news clip here.)

We then started working with the Fijian judiciary, diligently returning to Fiji several times a year to train members of the Bar and the Bench. This led to the setting up of the Fiji Mediation Centre in 2017.
